An Aura of Love ("Aura," "we," "us") is honored by the trust you place in us. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we care for it.
What we collect
Contact details, such as your name, email address, and phone number, when you reach out, book a discovery call, or join our email list.
Details you choose to share about your pregnancy, birth, health, and family during discovery calls, in intake forms, and throughout your care.
Booking and payment information. Payments are handled by our payment provider. We do not store your card numbers.
Basic website information, such as the pages you visit, if we use simple visitor statistics.
How we use it
To respond to you, schedule your sessions, and send reminders.
To provide and personalize your care.
To process payments and keep accurate records.
To send updates you asked for, like waitlist and collection news. You can unsubscribe at any time.
To improve our services and this website.
How we share it
We never sell your information. We share it only:
With the members of your Aura care team, such as your birth doula, postpartum specialist, and backup doula, so they can care for you.
With trusted services that help us run our practice, such as scheduling, email, and payment providers. They handle your information under their own privacy terms.
With anyone else only with your permission, or when the law requires it.
Your health information
What you share about your body, your pregnancy, and your family is held in confidence. Aura provides non-medical support, and we share your information with your doctor, midwife, or other providers only when you ask us to.
Photos and stories
We share photos, testimonials, or stories about you or your family only with your written permission.
Young people
For BLOOMS workshops and other youth programs, we collect information about anyone under 18 only with a parent or guardian's permission. This website is not directed to children under 13.
Keeping your information safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information, and we keep it only as long as we need it for your care, our records, and our legal obligations.
Your choices
You may ask to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. Email us and we will respond within one week.
Changes to this policy
If we update this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
